Overview

Reforging adds Terraria's iconic weapon modification system to Minecraft. Visit the Tinkerer's Table to reforge your weapons and tools, applying random modifiers that can drastically change their effectiveness.

Will you get the legendary modifier on your first try, or will you spend all your emeralds chasing perfection? The RNG gods await your tribute.

Warning

Reforging can result in worse stats! Make sure you have enough emeralds to keep rolling if you get unlucky.

Mechanics

Tinkerer's Table

To begin reforging, you need to craft a Tinkerer's Table. The recipe requires:

  • 4 Iron Ingots
  • 2 Gold Ingots
  • 1 Anvil

Place the table in your base and right-click it to open the reforging interface.

Reforging Cost

Each reforge costs emeralds based on the item's tier:

  • Common items — 1-2 emeralds
  • Rare items — 3-5 emeralds
  • Epic items — 6-10 emeralds
  • Legendary items — 11-15 emeralds

How to Reforge

  1. Right-click the Tinkerer's Table
  2. Place your weapon or tool in the input slot
  3. Ensure you have enough emeralds in your inventory
  4. Click the "Reforge" button
  5. Your item receives a random modifier
  6. Repeat until satisfied (or broke)

Modifiers

There are over 20 different modifiers that can be applied to your weapons and tools. Each modifier affects different stats:

Modifier Damage Speed Knockback Crit Chance
Legendary +15% +10% +15% +5%
Godly +15% +5% +15% +5%
Demonic +15% +5%
Ruthless +18% -10% +5%
Unreal +15% +10% +5%
Broken -20% -20% -20%

Tip

Legendary is the best all-around modifier, but some specialized builds might prefer Ruthless (pure damage) or Unreal (ranged weapons).
