Overview

Journey Mode brings Terraria's beloved accessibility mode to Minecraft. It's the perfect blend of creative freedom and survival gameplay, letting you control your experience without fully abandoning the challenge.

Research items by collecting enough of them, then duplicate them infinitely. Control the time of day, weather, and even difficulty — all from an intuitive in-game menu.

Tip

Journey Mode is perfect for players who want to experiment with builds or test mechanics without the grind, while still maintaining the survival experience.

Features

Item Research

Collect items to research them. Once researched, you can duplicate them infinitely. Different items require different amounts to research:

  • Common blocks — 100 required
  • Rare items — 25 required
  • Unique items — 1 required

After researching an item, you can access unlimited copies from the Journey Mode menu.

Time Control

Take complete control over the day-night cycle:

  • Freeze time — Lock the time at any point
  • Speed up time — Fast forward through the day or night
  • Set specific time — Jump to dawn, noon, dusk, or midnight

Weather Control

Control the weather conditions in your world:

  • Toggle rain and storms on or off
  • Clear skies instantly
  • Force specific weather conditions

Difficulty Slider

Adjust the game's difficulty on a sliding scale from 0.5x to 3x. This affects:

  • Mob damage output
  • Mob health pools
  • Spawn rates

God Mode Toggle

Enable invincibility when you just want to build in peace. God Mode makes you immune to all damage and prevents hunger depletion.

Spawn Rate Control

Adjust hostile mob spawn rates from 0x (peaceful) to 10x (chaos). Perfect for farming or creating a more relaxed building environment.
